I might be more productive if I do a little bit of everything until something is actually done.  I mean, it has all been undone all this time, at least, this way, it'll be closer to things being completed.

It could be just a mental thing. However I think that eating before bed is giving your body the energy it would have gotten from sleep. Which is why I try not to eat past 6pm or 7 if I can help it.

I am so in love with Karaoke at Round 1, Great Lakes Crossing!!!

 

Girl Monchichi been trying to get me out there for a while now and we finally managed to go midday on Friday.  When you walk inside, I declare it's like Japan threw up a pastel rainbow of a Tokyo Night Club (what we call an Entertainment Center).  All I know is that I'm hooked.  And since it doesn't close until 2am, we didn't have to worry about rush hour traffic going and coming back.

 

With regards to food and price, "Round 1" beats "168 Crab & Karaoke", hands down.  It's all a matter of the length of the drive at this point.  But it's doable if there are not appointment runs the next day.

Sometimes I wish I were a bit more Social Media savvy.  We got targeted by a group of school kids, yesterday afternoon, who decided to bang on the front door and almost gave @Trene4000 a heart attack.  I was literally out the door in a couple of seconds to watch them all scatter like insects, but it upset me so bad that I was yelling down the street after them, like a maniac, standing in a half inch of snow with no shoes on.

 

The idiot didn't realize we have a surveillance camera and thought he was being sneaky after the smallest kid in their group appeared to challenge him, the tallest kid in the group, to do the deed.  They had actually past our house and the little one called them back and they all when with it.

 

I just want to smash the internet with that footage of all those kids following the one kid to do something stupid because they didn't think they would get caught.

My cat just got the zoomies and ran into my kitchen, lost traction on the floor, and sideswiped the stove.

What is going on with this world lately.

 

On Thursday around 6:14pm, Girl Monchichi called me because she got into an accident a few blocks from home. She calls me and I hear a man yelling in her phone saying she was drunk and I heard my niece telling the man to give her her keys back. Then she says "don't hurt me" while this man is still yelling.

 

I was in a panic listening to this conversation on her phone for the entire time it took me to make it to the scene of the accident: 6 minutes and 59 seconds.

 

After I check her out, I see a bunch of dark figures standing on the grass near the curb and I was told that the big guy had reached into her vehicle and took her keys out of the ignition.  So of course I'm disturbed at the thought of this big man and my little niece.  I yelled down the street for whoever stole her keys to give them back and a guy yells, "no she's drunk" to which I replied she was not and to give her back her keys.

 

This entire time, I'm taking pictures of the accident scene, but when I get down to the guy's vehicle that was hit while parked, he starts yelling at me about coming into their neighborhood acting like an idiot, and that she hit his vehicle, then he starts using profanity and yelling at me that what if he came to my place and hit my car. Now he's getting louder and yelling that he wants 10K cash right now!

 

I yelled for him to give back the keys and he yells that he's "a grown a** man", so I yelled that I was "a grown freaking woman".  I yelled that all I asked for was to give her keys back and then he really starts laying into me from across the street.

 

At this point, I realized there was no point is saying anything else to him, surrounded by his kids, so I just stood there, in the street, in front of his tore up vehicle and just stared at him while he continued to yell and curse at me.

 

I'm just glad that I didn't laugh at that guy when he ran out of things to yell at me because that might have escalated things as I was just standing there, watching him act like an idiot in front of those kids.  I guess he feels he showed me.

 

Finally he says that the police was there.  So I turned and walked back down the street and told the police my side of the story. 

Of course, by the time I hear from the officer after he spoke to the one who listened to their side of the story, he said that we were both heated and exchanged words.

 

I wasn't heated, but I do keep forgetting that people who have loud voices are obviously having issues with someone.  I even demonstrated to the officer the way I said/"yelled" everything.  But I'm usually painted as the bad guy or the "unruly" one in situations like this.  So whatever.

 

And it took the cops to finally get her keys back.

Even with as dump as that guy was acting, I do kind of wish I could magically produce a replacement vehicle for him.  I get that he was upset, but his attitude and actions were a bit over the top, especially, in front of his children.

Glad nobody was hurt. Sorry you guys had to deal with that.  People are absolutely crazy. Scary times we're living in.

Pretty sure someone stole my 43 dollar reimbursement check from the mail as I've not gotten it and it was mailed November 20th. Informed delivery had it in my dashboard three different days.  Never got it.

Well I've got almost a year living out here and I can truly say I really fucking hate  Oakland County.  I'm ready to move the fuck back now. Today. This weather also sucks dick. Not very professional of me but I'm not at internship right now so fuck shit dick piss off shit head ass face.

I think she moved here from there, so technically she'd be moving back.

I don't remember who she married off here either, but I'm pretty sure that's partly why she moved over here.  I hope things are still well.

Your memory is partially correct. I moved to Wales , not England. I did marry Headwreck, and we are now recently divorced. I'm still in Wales, living in a house share, but I'm thinking of moving further north into England, to have a better quality of living. It's dire, where I am. 🤦‍♀️

Aww man I'm sorry to hear that but then again divorce is usually for the better so hopefully things start looking up for you! Wales - I've always wanted to go there as a large chunk of my family originated there. Sending prayers and good karma your way! 🤠👍
