First day of Summer Vacation and I just got the chance to sit down.  Chauffeuring, appointments, errands, food preparation...  I'm going to start my morning workouts again now that I don't have Learning Coach duties for the next few months.  That should help me build back up my stamina.

It was Memorial Day weekend in the US, which is a federal holiday honoring those who have died serving in the military.  So, my office was closed Monday.  Then I was off Tuesday and Wednesday for eye surgery.

Due to the fact that I'm allergic to the Sun and have been covering up long before Covid-19 mask wearing, I get looks from people who catch a glimpse of me in my vehicle, all covered up, as if to say, "What's wrong with you?  Didn't you get the memo?"

Apparently the backyard Mulberry Tree suffered a catastrophic failure and has split down its center.  I foresee tree cutting in my immediate future.  Just not today.  That ain't happening in 90 degree weather.

I just knew I would be doing repairs on my riding mower by now, but no...so much to do that I haven't even opened the shed to pull it out yet.

Yikes...I just realized my chauffeuring starts at 7:45am in the morning.

I'll try to get a brief morning workout in if time permits.

Time for auto insurance quotes...

 

I honestly thought Mark would have called me back if even to open a new policy in my own name, but...nope.

I had no idea what all goes into getting auto insurance.  It's been an hour and I'm still filling out the application.

It's a good thing I sent dinner over already; the storm is coming back around.

I officially have Auto Insurance Coverage in my own name!!!

Looks like the forecast for our area will be sunny with partly cloudy skies for a few consecutive days.  Hopefully that will give me enough time to setup for vaccinations, yardwork, lawn equipment maintenance and the boy's annual physical.

I wonder if I can salvage what's left of this day and get some of that fallen tree taken care of since tomorrow will be dedicated to lawncare and machine maintenance and bulk item removal for pick up on Friday.

I find it frustrating that the cost of living keeps increasing, yet fixed income remains the same.  How does that help the economy?

Second Victory...Got a new, updated cellphone plan that should work for everyone on it.

I think I'm going to try a straight cup of coffee to see if I can give myself a boost.  If I go down, everything else is hit.

It appears that I will be going back onto evening and nighttime work hours to insure I do not suffer heatstroke again.

Now that I'm fully awake, I will try again for a phone upgrade.  I have no idea why that process keeps putting me to sleep.

I finally got the checkout done around 4:30pm.
