NocteSpiritus Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Pretty sure we don't have it; Sister takes after the mother in having sinus issues so it coulda been that. I'm just dealing with a stuffy nose. Prolly from the changing temps. See, this is why I'm moving south; don't have to deal with Michigan's bi-polar weather.
kat (1) Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 I'm sad. I keep singing sometimes rhymes or whatever ramblings randomly pop up too because it keeps me distracted but I have to face.. the reality, it's slow. it creeps not in waves but in drops, like a tear, like the rain, in gusts, in and out, like the wind, heavy hitting blowing dust in my eye, cannot cry it just goes deeper so I remind myself of a time I felt alive, and yet again it never ends it's still the same old line, all I do is whine, perhaps If I change my mind...and blah blah blah I'll just stop there.

And just like that...A Country #1 Hit Single. 😁 kat 1
TronRP Posted April 24, 2020 Author Posted April 24, 2020 Feeling a bit better. Fever finally caught up with me and knocked me out. I managed to wake up around 6pm. That did not feel good at all.
NocteSpiritus Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Still recovering from a migraine from yesterday. Not drinking pop on lawn mowing days again; pretty sure that (the leftover pizza is 50/50) caused it. 1. Not my usual migraine (pain on left side, and right hand numbness. It flipped sides on me) 2. Couldn't hold down water and decided on to go into the ER due to that. 3. Had an IV and they pushed meds in through that.
TronRP Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 Exhausted, yet accomplished...got a lot of trimming done.

Where are you now? How are up feeling?

How are up feeling? They let me go after the IV was done. I've been home since discharge; and I've been doing small stuff around the house since I think I'm still feeling the post migraine stuff (minor headache) and minor pre-migraine symptoms (minor hand/arm numbness and as I type this tongue). But nothing for me to (hopefully) worry about. I got my store brand otc migraine pills (prefer Excedrin, but store brand is what I could get).
NocteSpiritus Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Partial burn of a leaf pile and pulled off a couple blankets. Hopefully it'll stay above 40 for lows now.

I'm just really concerned because it seems as though they should have done something more...like an MRI or Cat Scan.

My headache coulda just been the whole combination of 1. the caffeine from the pepsi 2. whatever my body goes through while mowing the lawn 3. the cheese from the pizza. And it's just taking a few days for the entire migraine process to happen.

I understand that hospitals are handling COVID-19 cases, but it shouldn't mean that the non-infected should be overlooked because they don't appear to be on death's door. That thinking negates the Hippocratic Oath. kat 1

That thinking negates the Hippocratic Oath. I've had the numbness for as long as I remember having migraines; auras, double vision, numbness (usually the right hand/arm, sometimes tongue). Only thing I could think that might affect my migraines (other than maybe a genetic one) would be a concussion years ago when I was ... 7/8? Second grade. Can't remember if any tests were done, or what came of those.

That's really weird because a few people including me have been having severe migraines lately to the point of near vomiting and passing out. It was me yesterday. I almost felt like I was going to need to go to the ER myself. Another thing was did they happen to test you for covid at all?

And yeah, that's another symptom; vomiting to the point of not keeping water down. That's why I finally went in.

If you had gone to the ER complaining of possibly having COVID-19, it would have been a different story. kat and NocteSpiritus 2

I also have migraines and am on a daily medication, topamax for it but this migraine was different..I almost passed out at the sink at one point. I am glad you are ok though.
kat (1) Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) To be honest, this shit is off...I think China or something unleashed something purposely. This is biological fucking warfare and retaliation. I'm not buying the bullshit. It doesn't feel right..something isn't right. Edited April 28, 2020 by kat

Shoulda stripped/washed my bedding today now that I think about it. It'll be a thing to do tomorrow. 1 minute ago, kat said: Yea, that's why I'm worried. Maybe it was like a system wide thing that went out to us migraine sufferers. lol Not something to joke about, yeah. I'm doing better than I was Saturday, even though I got a minor headache (sleep with a heading pad on the head) and I think my body's still processing out whatever was in the IV saline bag.

And yes, kat, stoke was my main concern, but I really didn't want to stress anyone out with that because we went through that here a few years back with TIA . Unfortunately, symptoms are sharing too many parallels.

kat (1) Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Everything is a symptom. My hair is falling out in clumps it's everywhere 😪😭
