This was just in a google doc document for my own use. I spent a month researching computer components for a good video editing computer (but not so overpriced and bleeding edge as to be a waste) as this hamster wheel powered thing with comedy level storage and performance. Editing with it makes it a huge chore.  Everything is slow as hell and I loathe having to edit just for that reason. 

 

When I got done finding to "sweet spots" for price vs performance it was still a big joke $$ wise. :(   Wish I could just wake up and walk over to my now-smooth editing rig.  I'd make 2 videos a week plus a live stream until hell freezes over. That isn't going to happen unfortunately. 

 

I took a LONG time making sure this whole thing is synergistic and all perfectly power balanced and the components work together to never have any bottlenecks where one component limits the abilities of another which often happens with computers.  If you are in the market for such a thing here it is.  Jessie is the only one I know that might realistically benefit from this but who knows maybe the whims of the internet will send someone here.  

 

Was depressing when I added up the cost but hopefully someone might benefit from this.

Sounds like an awesome system. I wish we both were a little less poor. I know I'd be thrilled with it and the help it would give you would be game-changing. *sigh*
