Help I'm trying to find a song!

I used to work in a Corset Shop In Jax and there was a song in our playlist I never got the name of and i's been driving crazy that I can't find it. 

 

it was a remixed kind of sound (possibly vaporwave inspired but I'm bad at making sense of genre XD)

 

the lyrics which I have looked up are something along the lines of 

 

"don't hate the light, We'll die the sunset"  in the corus and the opening like is something like "hey litle ____ are you feeling alright (?)" or something along the line haha 

 

I used hear it daily but I'm not too sure of the lyrics haha XD any leads would be fantastic!

If you have Google Assistant, you can also sing or hum some of the song into your phone and it will try to assist you in finding songs that way too.

that is a brilliant idea. But google assistant was unhelpful lol XD I may have to awkwardly reach out to my old coworkers

I would actually need just a little more information.  I'm from a bit before when the "Alternative" genre started so I have too many different styles of music to chose from.

 

If you knew a few more words or if the music was slow, fast, zoning, etc....

In short, I'm old....🤣

I literally just fell down the rabbit hole of Darkwave, Vaporwave, Indie, Punk, Goth, Alternative, Pop, Country, Rap and Bluegrass with a bit of Contemporary thrown in there...and I actually found some songs I never knew the names to, but really liked.  So something good did come from this. 😅

 

However, I would like to be able to assist you better with your search.

ohhh this is the challenge. 

 

lots of synth, kind peppy synth? upbeat, electronic beat...uh not fast, but feels fast compared to most goth music? like it's a dance song for sure, but a dance song for us gothic lil sloths haha

I do believe you have quite defeated me on this one.  I will pick back up on the search after work, but without a tune, I have no idea if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

you know, now that we've found the actual song. it dawns on me that my misheard lyric of "come drink the light" instead of "tranquilize" is probably why this didn't work XD
