I don't think the others really pay attention and if they do maybe they've matured enough to appreciate adult humor by now.

Fuck, 4chan.. I don't miss that place at all. The last thing they did that was truly awful was when /b/ raided /pol/ and now we have QAnon and MAGA as a result.

 

As far as kids go, I don't see kids wanting to join the board, unless you meant teens (like 14+) and that would be awkward, especially since some threads contain member's naughty bits and the "security" in that adult thread is literally a locked door with the key hanging around the doorknob.

But knowing kids, this might be the thread they gravitate towards. I dunno, seems to be just us in this thread at the moment. But all these worries seem moot since we're still trying to figure out how to get new members and it will likely be clubs and venues.. which what dumbass 14 year old would be at a club to begin with? They ID people.

As far as ages go, at this point anyone under 25 is a literal child.  It's almost like they speak a different language entirely.  Most of them see us as we see the boomers.

Some are okay, I get respect and I'm more than willing to give it back.  Most just seem to avoid me though which is fine by me.  Actually that seems to be most people in general unless they need something.

I have a few friends in their 20's. But then I've walked a life where I couldn't relate to anyone of any generation. Like there was always something just depressing about each generation. Boomers obviously can't relate to anything else. Gen X (what I consider myself) was the closest for the longest time until a good number of them turned to the boomer side. Millenials are alright except they're depressed and don't have enough fight in them for my liking. But then I see Gen Z, fucking unhinged and ready to burn this fucker down on a whim and call it an "ironic joke"

I vibe with that. Like they're the only generation that has experienced a level of abusive bullshit from life that I have. I always thought I was born 20 years too late, but it's looking like I was born 20 years too soon.

 

Those kids are alright. Their humor is alright, and their intolerance to this fucking bullshit is golden. I may not have liked them as teens (who the fuck likes teens once you hit 20) but the 20 and up ones are alright. I work with enough of them to feel confident they'll burn this fucker to the ground if the boomers don't get the fuck out of the way of progress.

No, it just lies that if you work hard enough you can make it to the top of the food chain, and that your aren't a slave to your corporate masters.  You're free to leave and go find a new master any time you like (unless you're a felon, in which case good luck finding any work at all.)

Also that everyone needs to pay their "fair share" when they make everyone at the bottom pay way too much and everyone at the top pay not nearly enough.
