bean Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Sweet dreams Beautiful nightmares Twist and turn. Slumber body unaware of the subconscious trickery. Awaken to fear, to lust, to hatred, to involuntary reactions. Hazy mind tries to understand this life, this dream, this nightmare.
Scary Guy Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Reminds me of Ayria - Horrible Dream Then Cooper comes to mind too.
Amerist Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Here, here: Insomnia. ...and any creative efforts brought to fruition by it.
bean Posted July 18, 2005 Author Posted July 18, 2005 Thanks everyone...it was kinda funny...I feel asleep not too long after I posted the poem.

Amerist Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Thanks everyone...it was kinda funny...I feel asleep not too long after I posted the poem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It probably just needed to be posted in order to be sated. Remember, most gods require sacrifies, even Soma who seems to be working for Calypso.
Scary Guy Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 I don't read other people's poetry except for what gets posted on this site, so there' s no influence. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's poetry set to harmony (music). Alice Cooper's "Welcome to my Nightmare" is what I was thinking of. I wasn't implying that you stole it at all, though these days it is hard to have an original thought.

Scary Guy Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 I happen to have it on vinyl :D Like I said normally I don't read poetry. It should be assumed if I'm refering to anything it is either music or computer related.
the eternal Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I start to wonder sometimes if all my cool original thoughts were done a thousand times before in a more intellectual and meaningful way in French when someone was bored and just threw out the least important thought on their mind that day Anyway, not the case here. I liked it a lot
