However I didn't realize how popular they were until I saw a Fox2 news thing on them (so I'm not sure whether that advertisement was paid or free because it was trending elsewhere.) Anyway I took it to @Serxera's and got made fun of for being trendy.  Do y'all know what I wear?  I'm the opposite of trendy.  I have my style that I like and I give zero fucks about trendy.  I'm slightly insulted, but I'm sure it'll fall out of fashion like everything else does eventually, and I still like my damn mug.

The other thing is I'm sure that gold pattern will flake off eventually.  I'm sure it's made that way much like steel cars as opposed to stainless steel.  Even now that they're mostly plastic they make it so areas still rust so people are required to buy a new one.  Planned obsolescence sucks but everything is attrition and I wont be able to enjoy it forever anyway.

Apparently I'm fucking trendy because with what I wear there's now a thing called "y'allternative" which is what I've been calling goth-hick for the past 20 fucking years.

Anyway, for my cup I got a little silicone cowboy hat as a straw cap and a hexagon cut boot for the base and I'm happy.
