JaneDead Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 i was thinking about this today- you don't have to name names if you don't want to but i am curious to know if your impression of dgners online matched up once you met them face to face.
TomCat Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 i was thinking about this today- you don't have to name names if you don't want to but i am curious to know if your impression of dgners online matched up once you met them face to face. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have almost always been more impressed with them in person than I thought I could be. And I really love it when they bring their delightfully yummy sisters too. :woot: :woot: :woot:
Brenda Starrr Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I actually was only surprised by Paul (Paperhearts). Since I had never seen a very clear pic of him, I didn't know what to expect. I think he's sexy. I really do.
Guest Game of Chance Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 lol...didn't we have this conversation at luna...not about paperhearts...but about people looking better in person?
Brenda Starrr Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 We did. You're definitely hotter in person! Didn't I tell you that??
JaneDead Posted July 19, 2005 Author Posted July 19, 2005 well, i was not at luna so i do not know and i didn't even mean anything about looks just how they are in general for example- tomcat is way more outgoing than i thought he would be. troy is very mellow (could be the alchol ), and sweet and different than i thought he would be when i first met him it is just so different (obviously) to hear/see/experience a person face to face than through your computer. and brenda- as soon as i walked by where she was i knew she was there. she was so cute and giggly. i didn't really know that she would necessarily be that way... and that game of chance guy.. what a... oops i mean... hi steve

Farril said I looked cuter in person tho I think shes right. Its my personality that people have a hard time grasping.
Kiss The Midget Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 again i think i look different in person , like all that i have meet from here. the biggest thing i have to explain is that "no im not a midget" greg
Homicidalheathen Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 My impressions never match. Sometimes I am pleasently surprised sometimes....well, lets just say I wouldn't wanna do 'em.
Troy Spiral (13) Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I've been suprized by peoples online personaltiy vs. their "in person" personality many times. Dyno , the same goes for you on your observation of me. Its odd how brief meetings in person can change ones perception. I was definetly not expecting the calm, very warmhearted , laid back sweetheart that you turned out to be. =) Hell , on the ride home from CC i specificly this subject for a few minutes. On occasion i've totally been set back. I have , a few times actually misjudged a few DGNers gender and when they told me their DGN name, while talking to me in real life i was in disbielf for a few moments. :blushing haha Sometimes i meet somone, that online seems very agressive and seemingly negative toward me, that im half expecting to start yelling at me when they see me in person. Then after the actual meet & conversation we end up saying goodbye , wishing each other well and/or hugging (gender not witstanding) and i've made a new friend. Like it when that happens. *beams*
Paper Hearts Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I actually was only surprised by Paul (Paperhearts). Since I had never seen a very clear pic of him, I didn't know what to expect. I think he's sexy. I really do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :blushing I was also surprised that Brenda was so much hotter in person. lol...didn't we have this conversation at luna...not about paperhearts...but about people looking better in person? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol! Alot of people have been much taller than I expected: Troy, Morbid Suicide, BS9, there are others...I'm not short at 5ft, 11, either but we really have a fucking basketball team of people, here-a goth basketball team...
Brenda Starrr Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 :blushing I was also surprised that Brenda was so much hotter in person. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :blushing
JaneDead Posted July 19, 2005 Author Posted July 19, 2005 Alot of people have been much taller than I expected: Troy, Morbid Suicide, BS9, there are others... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i agree! i feel that i am the shortest out of everyone. i am 5ft 3 and feel i have to look up to everyone on dgn - guys and girls.
Brenda Starrr Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I did expect you to be taller, for some reason. But you were just as pretty as I thought you would be!
JaneDead Posted July 19, 2005 Author Posted July 19, 2005 that was one of the first things tina/marblez said to me when i first met her too. i told her i was short, i guess she didn't think i would be that short. she was like wow, you ARE short.
