[7/24/05] CHRISTMAS IN JULY BBQ!!

I'm having a Christmas in July BBQ at my place on the 24th (Christmas in July Eve).

I'm planning on starting out around 3:00pm or 4:00pm, and I'd really like to see my DGN friends down there.

For those few of you out there who haven't driven me home at some point or another, feel free to PM for directions, or call me at 313 608 0524.

I'm providing chicken, hot dogs and hamburgers, anything else anyone wants to bring is fine by me!

I hope for a decent turn out, so let me know if you're coming by!

A) I need plates and insurance on my car.

It's up to you. DJ would make things extra cool. I'm going to put up some decorations and stuff in the house, it should be lots of fun, depending on the turnout (I realize this is sorta a last minute invite to you all.)

Actually, negatory on DJ stuff. I live next to a church, and my dad just reminded me that loud goth music may not exactly be kosher.

Okay, easy way to give directions for those of you PM deprived (Scary Guy gets an email cuz he asked nicely )

Most important, get to 75, however you can.

If you are taking 75 N to get to Detroit:

-Get off on exit 52, the MACK exit.

-Continue STRAIGHT down the service drive.

-Turn LEFT on CANFIELD, which should be the second light

-Go just past the church, a parking lot will be on your RIGHT side.

-Park in the lot, find ME in the backyard.

If you are taking 75 S to get to Detroit:

-Get off at Exit 53A, the WARREN exit

-Continue STRAIGHT down the service drive to CANFIELD

-There should be a church directly on your RIGHT side at the light

-Turn RIGHT on CANFIELD

-Just past the church there is a lot on your RIGHT

-Park in the lot, meet me in the back

And one weird exception the the 75 S thing...

If you are connecting 94 W to 75 S:

-Get off at exit 52, the MACK exit.

-Turn LEFT immediately after leaving the freeway

-Cross OVER the free way, make another LEFT, so you are on the NORTHBOUND service drive

-Continue to the CANFIELD light

-Turn LEFT on CANFIELD

-Just past the church, on the RIGHT, there is a lot. Park in the lot. meet me in the backyard.

i shall be there we're leaving westland around 3pm so hopefully it doesn't take that long to get there I have to be back home by 830 to take over baby sitting my niece so... and maedea i'm bringing cookies and potato salad... Well i'll see you then.

Unfortunately, I have a long, boring work meeting I have to go to (which there is a good chance I will still be drunk when I go to it), so I'm not going to be able to make it =(

Rain is gone! It's a bit windy, though.

But still, BBQ is still going as planned. If it starts to rain again, I WILL Barbeque with an umbrella in my hand, while you all hide inside.
