I've been watching the Daily show frequently and I think it's better than ever. John Stewart is frickin hilarious. I love pollitical satire.......Am I the only one here that watches this?

this show is some of the best stuff on tv beside the satire John Stewart also throughs in some great political commentary that hits home and is relavent. If you can you should see the interview he did on one of FOX news shows it was great he verbally just kicked the shit out the commentator it was wayyyyy cool. He is a very informed man and can hold his own against these right wing zealots who think they are always right...........I watch it every night if possible...it rawks

I loved it when he was on Crossfire too, he totally just let them have it (didn't think that was on fox, maybe we speak of the same thing).

Anyhow I've been watching it since Craig Kilborn (sp?) was hosting and it's the best "fake news" ever.

It does tend to lean a little towards the left but in the interest of non partizan fence riding "both sides of the story" news that the FCC demands, they make fun of everyone just to be safe :D

Yeah, I've been watching it since Kilborn too. These days, it's at the top of my TiVo Season Passes. The only show I make sure I watch every single day.

I like the fact that it's really funny, but then Jon Stewart is actually an intelligent guy who I almost always agree with during the interviews. I remember a couple times when he had authors of political books on and he brought up world events that even these guys weren't aware of.

True, it leans left, but so does reason Plus, the republicans are the ones in power these days so they're they ones actually doing stuff to get made fun of. When was the last time the democrats did anything but complain about what the republicans are doing?

I watched it in the Kilborn days, but don't remember much.

I'm pretty sure they're just as harsh on any absurdities coming out of Democratic/liberal peeps as they are the current administration.

That's what they feed on - the natural BS & absurdities spewed & committed by these people. They're their own joke, and TDS takes advantage of that.
