Honey, I weigh 155 right now. I'll be happy to see 140.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
11 stone and 1 lb, idealy want to be 10 stone

Ha.

Got you beat.

168lbs baby!

Oh wait. Damnit.

Ok maybe I need to lose some too.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

11 stone, 12 lbs

i'm 12 1/2 stone (dropped a stone recently)

i'll never get to that unhealthy 8.5, but 11 - 11.5 i'll be happy.

the pair of you look good.

its us men who should be more worried about appearances, as women do tend to call the shots when introducing yourself

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

175 lbs @ 6', was infamous for being 119lbs @ 6' back in collage (which helped with all the random clibing of things and shimmying of girders)

I've cut out the overeating, for sure. Hell, when we went to dinner at Cypress, I had Hummus and Greek salad. I would have rather had they gyro!

I'm not bringing junk home anymore. I'm bringing veggies. I know my son will eat them with me. My daughter and Wayne will talk a bit more convincing.

I'm drinking so much more water, or homemade iced tea. It's the whole going back to the gym thing that will help me. Now that I'm not working anymore, I can go as soon as I drop my kids off at their summer program. I prefer to work out in the a.m., so this will be great. Next time y'all see me, I'll be firmer. At least, that's the plan....

Keeping the junk out of the house will help everyone! I don't want my children to go through what I am. I am so addicted to white bread, all forms of sweets and just plain junk!

It's time for this big gal to get back on track. I've only been off for a week or so. We had to buy a new car so $$ was tight. Cheap food=bad food usually

Those of us that are trying to take care of ourselves should post our progress. Maybe a separate thread for health/weight loss bragging.

GM, I think that's an awesome idea! We can support each other, which would be good. We could also have healthy recipes. I love this!

Try cutting out or cutting down on your dairy, especially cheese. Milk (cow's) by nature's design is made to turn a calf into a half-ton cow within a year. I know when I stopped eating dairy, I went from a size 12 to a size 3 within a year, without adding any other activities to my schedule. Good luck!

oooh NO!  Thanks for the insight!

I am a bit out of the loop......

I'll have to look it up!

Sign up on Julie's email list. She keeps everyone current onwhat's going on. There's usually an email either the day of or the day before each workout. She hassles us a lot about sending her song requests and also tends to cheerlead for the local music scene... recommending bands to see and such...

Our daughters went to school together this past year, BTW, though I've known her for almost four years now...
