Anybody write screenplays?

It is just for the last like 20 years now there has been all these remakes/redo's of old TV shows (Bewitched, Dukes of Hazard, etc...) and movies (War of the Worlds, The Omen, etc...) that in my opinion don't need to be remade... Not that all of these films are bad, some are kinda cool, but really, doesn't anybody have an original idea anymore? (I know it is a cliche problem) But we keep on remaking all of these Asian horror flicks (The Ring, Dark Water, The Eye, etc...) And you know, sometimes they are even good remakes, but they are also good movies originally as well... The last few original movies I have seen are very low budget and awsome were movies like "Primer" and "Pi"

I don't mind seeing comics and books being made into movies as it is an all together different medium.

Anyway I think the time has come for

DGN THE MOVIE

I do. I'm working on a script right now I'll give you a teaser. DON'T BITCH ABOUT MY FORMATTING.

(After a brutal fight scene)

HUMAN

(shocked)

If you guys are supernatural, how come that fight didn't have any wicked flip and fighting in the air?

HALF DEMON

This isn't Blade or the Matrix kid, this is life and the laws of physics still apply. The only thing I have I common with Reeves is, he is the same character in every movie I am the same character every day.

I always wanted to do a documentary about the Detroit area, people, cultures, scene, underground, etc.....

Compile alot of good footage, and peoples comments about different topics and such. I have some pretty good footage of drunk people speaking their minds and comments on different bars, and whatever...I also have some fight footage, adn lame band footage at harpo's, Paychecks, and some other bars....

It's all just collecting dust.

I just don't have any editing equip, or creative enough mind to put it together strategically.

Unfortunately, with no River Phoenix, casting for the part of Paper Hearts will be difficult...

Troy can be played by Stephen Seagal. Phee can be played by Harvy Keitel. Who do I see as Brenda? Do you remember the girl who won best actress for her role in the Dream Life of Angels, at Cannes, a few years ago? Mayber her-

we might be able to fit Telly Savalis in somewhere, too...

what format is your footage on?

Ms Maldoror-Renee Zelwegger

DarkChylde-Andy Griffith

Elvira needs a part to.

Maybe LuluVox gets to be Christina Ricci.

Wow this is fun... and thanks for the Hervey Kietel nod... although I think that I should find some one who looks like me like him:

He doesn't look like you and niether does Kietel-being that I could think of no actor who really does, i thought give it to Keitel-he can play anyone. Wait! James Cagney!!!

OK, I am technologically illiterate......

I have an older model that uses these small "tapes" that you stick into a regular sized tape to play in your vcr.....

I think it was a JVC ???????? Yep, I feel dumb..... :blushing

I have just misc footage..... from over the years.......

I sure don't, but you are welcome to it......I'm sure you will find some very entertaining moments on them.

Zhuk and me have been working on a screenplay. If you ever want to get together and character/dialog brainstorm give ua a call. We like to take cards and paper to the Coney on Jackson and eat grease and scribble :cheerful

Jarodakamister will be played by Brad Pitt, of course.

And the part of Vater Araignee will be played by Bruce Campbell (he wont mind all the make up to look like me) understudied by Christopher Walken of course.

Before you have somebody edit for you you would have to:

#1. Be very clear on what you want to say with your documentary.

#2. Thoroughly document what you have on every tape.

#3. State what footage you will not give up.

Thats not the way to go.

My recommendations, get yourself:

Toshiba if you hurry you can get it for $40.00 instead of $60.00

DVD+R DL Write Speed 5x

DVD+R Write Speed 16x

DVD+RW Rewrite Speed 4X

DVD-R Write Speed 12x

DVD-RW Rewrite Speed 4X

CD Write Speed 48x

CD Rewrite Speed 24x

It reads DVD-ROM, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R, DVD+RDL, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, CD-DA, CD+G, CD-MIDI, CD-TEXT, CD-ROM, CD-ROM XA, MIXED MODE CD, CD-I, CD-I Bridge (Photo-CD, Video-CD), Multi-session CD (Photo-CD, CD-EXTRA, Portfolio, CD-R and CD-RW).

Sabrent SBT-TVFM with Remote Control video capture card. Its not the greatest but for $29.97 who cares because what you want to do Is edit you footage together burn it to DVD so you can show what you are trying to accomplish when you start asking for project funding.

Remember Cheep Crape Hardware is what accounts for the recent explosion of good Inde films. Once you have a backer or six you can get better stuff.
