Gonna see if I can catch it on videocam. Got a nice, bright view of the moon in the NC sky.

Well, at the elevation of 7,800 feet, here in Laramie Wyoming, I'll get a good view of the elcipse on my lunch break tonight.. That is, unless, a ton of clouds decide to roll in.. Damn mountain weather.

At what time was it red? I first noticed it shortly after 10 and kept looking until 11:45 or so....

I saw no red.

It looked orangish-red out here in Wyoming.. The skies cleared up a bit then.. Man, speaking of which, you wouldn't believe how clear the night sky is out here.. If there aren't any clouds you can see soooo many stars.. Amazing.

I tried looking back at the times my photos were taken, but I edited them down and re-saved them so the time on the file name was over-written. I am guessing that it was about 10:15 or so when it looked most red. Someone sent me a link that called it the "blood moon", and that really fits what I saw. Sort of creepy, but very cool.

Maybe it was redder because I am over here in the middle of nowhere and the air is clearer?

Another one of those occasions where having to be at work sucks.

I need a cube by a window. Or just a cube.

We were lying on the bed with the window open.... watching....the moon was above a tree....it was very beautiful.....and relaxing.
