Thread idea

Was thinking if maybe we could have a pinned thread in the General Promotion & Want Ads for different services that other DGN'ers can offer. Like everyone who is interested could post what they can do, where they're located, and how to get ahold of them. I know a lot of us have different things we can do for one another and this would be a good way to help the entire board out.

For example I can offer automotive repair services, computer repair services, even build computers, etc. I just think it would be a good idea so everyone who might need something can have one central thread to look at and refer to.

This has been done before. I would suggest that you go ahead and do it if you can't find the other thread(s) buried. If it survives and is used - then we would likely be able to sticky it. There is a general dislike of "too many" sticky threads, but if it is of interest and helpful, why not?

I would also recommend that you create a thread that is specfically for your specialty. That way, it is in headlines and easy to find if someone is looking for that specific service.

Yeah cuz I mean I am sure a lot of you do things or make things that I would find useful, but I don't know who does what, etc..
