Guest Game of Chance Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 so if someone you think is a tool adds you as a friend, but you're kind of friends with that person's significant other...and then the tool in question leaves you a comment, is it impolite to delete the comment?
Brenda Starrr Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I don't like tools, so I would do it. Maybe it's impolite, but I don't need comments from tools.
Guest Game of Chance Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 well, the thing is...he's probably not a bad guy, he's just not the type of person I'd hang out with...or want to know. Frankly, he just rubs me the wrong way. And my relationship with this persons significant other is shaky at best...so i risk ruining both relationships by a slight like this...i hope nobody takes this shit too personally
The_Dark Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Someone on the internet take something to personally? Never!
Scary Guy Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I rub a ton of people the wrong way, I've just got a strong personality though. But Myspace ediquite? Don't make me ROFL. This is the interweb. Screen your comments. Personally I don't add people as friends unless they really are friends, someone I'm interested in doing business with, or a band who's music I enjoy and support.
Homicidalheathen Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I would not have signed the person up. In fact I deleted two people the other day that lied....don't mind deleting or not excepting.....
Slept with ghost Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 i guess it would all have to depend on what the comment itself is if it was something friendly it might actually cause more problems if you just left it off there you may have to just smile and nod on this one
torn asunder Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 i have a friend irl who i added on myspace, until i started reading the bulletins he was posting about "punk bitch" this, and "gonna fuck you up" that. (some jerkoff was fuckin with his OL, but anyway...) i let him know that i wanted to still be his friend, but that i was trying to distance myself from that kind of negative thinking and drama, and let him know i was removing him from my profile - we still talk, and it's all good. do your own thing, and people will either respect you for it, or get pissed, and who cares about those people anyway!?
Vater Araignee Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 what's myspace? :innocent <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know. What does a myspace whore look like? :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent :innocent

wheresmypiggy Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 I love the delete button. I use it often. But I also find it rather amusing to leave comments and have other people comment about the silly comments. Myspace=drama Its better than TNT. What is drama? Drama is myspace.
Scary Guy Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 I thought drama was Live Journal? OMG DRAMA SCENE OMG
Reaper Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 I barely ever check MySpace anymore. I always get little goth chic kiddie wannabes trying to add me or some band trying to up their fanbase. I never even posted blogs. Just joined so I could view a profile or two and then made my own. Gathered up a few friends but after awhile as usual, they disappear or are full of shit. So I rarely check it anymore, esp since they have so many problems, you can't even check your profile.
pomba gira Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Happy to say I've successfully avoided getting involved w/MySpace in any form or fashion... sounds way too time-consuming & dramagenic. Too many kiddies, too... I had an experience a while back that's made me extremely leery ov dealing w/underage people online.
JaneDead Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 my new love of myspace is wanting to expose dj's and musicians from michigan. so i went on a searching spree one night and started to add a bunch of them to my "friends" list. i am not done yet, just taking a break. that is time consuming. but i figured i should make good use of my time spent on myspace since i already waste enough time here on dgn
Guest Game of Chance Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I have a bad taste in my mouth about Myspace at the moment
JaneDead Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 I have a bad taste in my mouth about Myspace at the moment <{POST_SNAPBACK}> was it the issue that needed fixing and has now been taken care of?
Guest Game of Chance Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 was it the issue that needed fixing and has now been taken care of? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no, there are a number of reasons
