Wrong forum. =)

But yes, I saw it at the theater with my husband and we about killed ourselves laughing.

It was one of the most mundane scenes that, for whatever reason, just struck me and I gave myself a headache stifling laughter.

Old news Dave. I have it. On DVD. One I actually bought because me and my friends ARE JUST THAT STUPID. We have been talking about it for the past year or two.

We do hurt ourselves over here on purpose for fun.....no kids around don't worry.....though they do wonder about the OW and then the HA HA HA coming out of my room, they know it's not sex.....

Mighty nice of you to Say, DD. =)

I laugh a bit more uproarously than Jon does, and I DID laugh loud and long at that movie. It's stifling it which is REALLY hard, and gives me a raging headache, so I usually just let loose.

There's a scene in the last Austin Powers movie that did the same thing to me. If I describe it, it won't get so much as a cricket chirp. But it just really, really FLOORED me, and hardly anybody else. So I REALLY had to work to get myself under control - I was laughing so hard I was crying. Jon was laughing more at me than at the movie (which was pretty disappointing overall).

I like movies a lot. But as for my knowing movies better than anyone on here, that I seriously doubt. I watch a lot of movies when they come to rentals, and have been watching a lot more than ever before due to quitting cable & satellite last year. I like doing my little reviews, 'cause you seldom see reviews from the angle of seeing movies just for the sake of enjoyment/entertainment, and not serious critique as to why you SHOULDN'T see a movie.

No, I wouldn't call myself a buff. That term I save for those who can name you the directors, producers, and trivia I couldn't care less about. I just know what I like, and also am good at looking things up on resources like The Internet Movie Database.

If you REALLY want to meet a film buff, you should meet my sister. She sees about every movie that comes out, owns every movie soundtrack ever released, and keeps movie fact books on hand all the time. My actress sister gave her the coolest birthday gift for her 50th 5 years ago - a binder FULL of autographed pictures of movie stars that she'd been getting for her for a period of a few years in anticipation of her birthday. Everybody from Tom Hanks to Jim Carrey to Julia Roberts, etc. VERY VERY cool.

Movies - I just like 'em. :grin

I saw it in the theater and I was laughing so hard I was in pain! Luckily we went to see it at the cheap show because I laugh really loud and have a hard time keeping it quiet. I still need to buy it because that was some of the funniest shit I have ever seen. I used to hang out with a bunch of guys that would do crazy crap and I was always laughing.

ah, memories. Jackass came out while I was working at Kalamazoo 10, so my friend Angie and I went to see it during the week when there weren't many people there, stocked up on free popcorn and nalgenes full of vodka and orange soda that I made them fill behind the counter. :grin good times, indeed.
