brise Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 i just want to know how everyone sleeps! on your side, stomach, back, in a ball, sprawled out, etc. TELL ME PLEASE!! I MUST KNOW! I'M NOSY! :grin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Curled on my right side, with my hair thrown across my other pillow behind me, and I have a stuffed pink monkey I hug called Mr. Monkey. I've been told I make little sweet noises when I sleep, SOMEONE was watching me sleep....besides how would I know what kind of noises I make I'm sleeping? It's good to be nosy!!!!
soothsayer Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I always sleep with both eyes closed. Sometimes lying down but on occasion sitting up.
EvilEve Posted August 14, 2005 Author Posted August 14, 2005 see, i sleep in all kinds of positions, but i don't "sleep." i rest. i've never learned how to sleep. i can't relax enough to get into a very deep sleep, and be well rested. i'm either half asleep all day, or i'm strung out. the reason behind this is because there's stress in my life,(stress?! what's that?!!) and being an emotional person, i hold all that stress in. that messes with my sleeping patterens. i can't relax to save my life. i scrunch my feet up in my sleep, so when i do wake up, i'm in pain. i've tried sleeping many different ways. in fact, everything that everyone has posted, i've done. (i have to admit, i'm still kinda snickering at some of your comments. :laughing needed something to make me smile.) and still, nothing works.... and i'm too stubborn to take any kind of sleeping medication (right now anyway), so i guess i'll have to suffer. does anyone else make their bed right before you go to sleep in it? i don't make my bed in the morning, it seems pointless. but then when i want to get some rest, i make my bed because if i don't, it'll be that much more uncomfortable to sleep. maybe i need to start sleeping with ear plugs in my ears, that way i won't have to hear all the noises in the house to wake me up. any suggestions are welcomed.
bean Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 whats a 'make your bed'? :confused <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I've heard of this "make your bed" but I do not know what it is :confused
damagedangel Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Nope, no bed making here. There isn't anyone coming into my house to see how neat and tidy I keep it, and a made bed doesn't do anything for me... so... I don't take the time to do it. I fall asleep usually on my left side with my left arm under my pillow and my kitten Marlon curled around my head.. Yes, yes, I know.. sounds very comfortable. If I end up on my back at anytime during the night I immediately wake up and can't get comfortable again.
Kit Kat P Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 not well now that my gf is in vegas for a week
ManicQueen Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 On the rare occasions when I do sleep, it's always on my tummy.
Shade Everdark Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I usually fall asleep on my side, curled up in the fetal position. I wake up flat on my back, usually with a cat between my legs. Oh, and I don't dream, which is why I'm forgetful and quietly insane.
sglgothmom Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I sleep on my stomach with one leg bent if i'm in bed with my daughter or by myself and if i'm with someone else i sleep in thier arms usually but can't sleep very well always afraid they are going to twitch and hurt me.... wierd i know but here's the even crazier part i moan in my sleep also, sexual moans people here it and think i'm having sex in my sleep.
Moonlight_Phantasy Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Unless someone is holding me close I usually toss and turn. I was at Mar's house and we shared a twin mattress and I kicked her out of her own bed......
slingerlandstyx Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 side (both). i tend to toss and turn alot. i cant cuddle while i sleep. :(i need my space. just a little bit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ooh, me too. I'd love to fall asleep cuddling, but for some reason it just doesn't happen. I can be touching the other person, but for some reason unknown to me, I can't fall asleep with my arm draped over whomever it is that I'm sleeping with. It kinda sucks actually. A lot. :tear
fistlover Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 surounded by pillows...4 to be exact...pillow for my head...pillow for between my kwees...one between my legs and one to hug....naked BTW...snoring...and ALONE!
unchaste Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 How do I sleep? :sleeping Like the fucking dead. I'm told that I snore and talk and sometimes kick my feet in the air like i'm swimming very slowly. . .but of all of this I am unawares. As for making my bed, I only do that when I change my sheets. After that, all hell breaks loose and is left to run amok.
vampgirl21 Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 i sleep on my sides and when i wake up i'm normally still on my sides but i love to sleep with my stuffed dag or one of my kittys
Head Wreck Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 on my back. on a firm bed or carpeted floor bout 3-5 hrs a night otherwise i snore and/or get bouts of parasomnia (sleepwalking, talking, general movement) and wake up feeling like shit
Soulrev Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I usually sleep on my stomach with my right arm underneath the pillow and my left arm goes wherever.. If I'm tired enough I can fall asleep in any position, even really uncomfortable ones.. Or even with my boots on I've been known to pass out after a hard night of partying..
Soulrev Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 What I've always wanted to know is why I can never remember falling asleep, or just how some people can fall asleep instantly.. I can never fall asleep instantly like my Dad does, he can fall asleep within 1 minute of hitting the pillow.
Rayne Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I sleep like crap. Seriously....I don't sleep well at all, and I snore. All over the bed, with my Chico (my dog) usually curled up beside me or on my legs.
Head Wreck Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 shade mentioned something about not dreaming. from 16-21 i stopped remembering dreams completely after a course of hypnotherapy to stop me becoming unhinged with stress. 21 they came back, just as vivid and sureal as ever, and the odd premanission
Anathema Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 i sleep like hell! i'm lucky to get 3 hours a night. damned insomnia. plus if you don't tell i talk in my sleep and occationally snore (blushing)
bean Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I usually sleep on my stomach with my right arm underneath the pillow and my left arm goes wherever.. If I'm tired enough I can fall asleep in any position, even really uncomfortable ones.. Or even with my boots on I've been known to pass out after a hard night of partying.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep, I've been so trashed I've passed out with my shoes/boots still on, and my collar still on. I sleepwalk from time to time, which is always fun, especially waking up on my porch in the morning!
EvilEve Posted August 25, 2005 Author Posted August 25, 2005 I NEED TO GET MORE SLEEP!! i should go and sleep right now, but it won't be restful sleep.. i don't think it will be... no harm in trying right? usually, i sleep on my stomach, with my head laying either one way or another. .... i should get sleep... before i go into work..
Draco1958 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Usually my left side, left hand under my head. But I have woke up in weird positions at times.
