wasnt messed up on it. just tried a localy made brand and a batch a friend made, thier both differant but equally nice.

getting messed up isnt a good idea when you spend the weekend doing silly things like 3 hours of pitch battle and several skirmishes in forestry and iron age village

I'm a beer snob

there was a time I would drink everything

I'll have to try it though

All I meant by "be careful" and that "hippies drink meade" is that folk music will destroy you. If you start listening to Joni Mitchel, it's over.

heh - funay stuff.

I have tried Scottish Heather Mead...it is almost like Champagne in color and flavor. Legend has it that back in the day the Heather flowers would become infected with Ergot fungus. After rendering and fermentation there would be enough Ergotine in the brew to cause reckless behavior in those who drank of it. Perhaps this is the source of the Myth that Scottsman have the strength of 3 before Noon :wink *tho this would involve drinking when rising...not unheard of in Europe, especially ye olden days*
