Well neither is Billy Idol if you wanna get technical about it using common argot.

However Joe Bruce is instrumental in writing the music not just the lyrics.

By the average persons definition they are more so a band than Billy is considering he is a solo artist.

Now if you want to get technical using the very definition of the word...
