holliwood66 Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 here's another poem I wrote recently. It is different from my usual sestina constraints but fun none-the-less. Tide Pool Salted rocks, watchful sea urchin Bitter spines Love tender pink soles. Oyster diver, net empty under brows and blue lipped Creature coral rose, open Now Closed Cream trumpets hide Last sunset Down deep throats Shadow fingers Temporary pull Water tourmaline-green Laps limbs red white silver-streaked Violet sky spread over heads Underneath, treasure can be found Slithering heavy strands.
