Work? I'm a stay at home mom.

School? Graduated high school in 1997, majored in Pre-Law until 2002 when I left college.

Kids? I have 4. Two girls, two boys, ages 6 to 1.

Married? Yes, for nearly 5 years now to an OTR trucker who isn't really into the whole goth thing...

Hobbies? My laptop and my cell phone are my sanity. Other than that, trying to get to CC on the rare occasions I can find a sitter.

Anyway, I've been reading here for quite awhile, but just registered today.

I am 26, grew up here in Garden City, moved to New Baltimore, moved back to Garden City, moved to another place in Garden City, moved to Westland, then moved back to Garden City, again. Strange how I keep finding my way back here. Garden City has a weird way of sucking people in, when all you really think you want is to get the hell out of here.

I heard about the board a few months ago, overhearing a conversation at the bar at CC.

I've been reading since then off and on, but just joined today.

As for my husband...we've tried. Froyn and I dragged him to CC one night, I say "dragged" because we practically had to. Upon leaving, he told me - "It's

just not my thing, it's yours, that's fine...but it's just not for me."

Guess I'm lucky he understands, and lets me go with friends when he's in town, and isn't bothered if I find a sitter and go when he is not here.

Cant push a rope. =) Some people dont want to try something , but they can be talked into it and maybe change their minds. Some people REALLY dont like a certain thing and just may never be able to enjoy it. Such us life. Doesnt mean we dont love em just the same. =) I've been trying to get one of my best friends to check out DGN (can actually get him to CC sometimes) for years now, i've gotten him here, but only at great pains... and he doesnt post... well maybe once a decade.
