It is basically whatever you want to sing. They don't have a great selection so I bring my own CDs to supplement. They mix in some booty music each rotation for the people that want to dance.

My selections last night included:

My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion

Can't Fight The Moonlight - Forgot her Name

Zug Island is in detroit... at least the Zug Island i know about. Its sort of a sub-topic whenever the subject of detroits many industrial ghettos comes up. Basically its a big industrial block on a hunk of land surrounded by water. Although being a "detroit buff" its got its own sort of beauty to me. This guys description of Zug Island here: http://detroityes.com/webisodes/2001/08-do...ownriverzug.htm is pretty funny. I've heard they actually will boot you off the island if your taking pictures in the wrong area... not sure why exactly but there are "no cameras" signs in several spots.

Is there some sort of waste facility or something on the west side with the same name as Zug Island or somehow related to it?

Oh and to the topic at hand *stares his own profile info* oh yes i live i Westland. (grew up here, spent most of my 20's in Ann Arbor, ended up back here due to various reasons)

I found out some people are under the impression that City Club's full name is "Detroit City Club"....

The name of the club is Leland City Club (LCC) the "leland" part is one of the owners, Mike (yes there are more than one) mother's name. The "board" of LCC is refered to as DCC. =)
