Draco1958 Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Hello, I am new here(obviously). While I am not Goth, I am looking to explore another side of myself. I love the Goth look on ladies(hot). Hope to make one of the DGN parties soon. I currently reside in Lincoln Park altho I lived in Canton for a little while. I work for Roush test driving prototype cars on the highways and sideroads. Look for white cars with black covers on the front and rear somewhere between Livonia and Lansing. If it's the afternoon, it could be me driving. I'm 47, divorced, no kids hoping to one day find a lady to spend lots of time with. I like photography, Ren Faires, Sci/Fi-Fantasy conventions. Hate having to work on my computer, spend way too much in front of it, I need to get out more. Looking for new fun things to do and explore, this is not a middle aged thing, I am looking to discover new things around me and about myself. Hope I fit in here and looking forward to meeting people from here.
Troy Spiral (13) Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Hi Draco, Theres a grand total of about 3 goths on Detroit Gothic.net dont think that being "not goth" is a stigma. =) Great intro post. I , myself have similar interests, although i've not actually been to a Ren Faire in a long time. Pretty hardcore sci fi fan as well. I think its great your trying to find new things and new areas to explore. I totally understand the "spending to much time in front of the computer" idea. While i think computers are an amazing communication tool and allow people to do positive things, that no previous era of mankind has ever been able to do, they do need to be taken in moderation. =) Hope we see you around the board more often. =) *drum roll* SDGNWQPS ©the Standard Detroit Gothic . the eternal Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 :fear Hello, I am new here(obviously). While I am not Goth, I am looking to explore another side of myself. Looking for new fun things to do and explore, this is not a middle aged thing, I am looking to discover new things around me and about myself. Hope I fit in here and looking forward to meeting people from here. Buddy, I am so not goth, Donny Osmond asked me to explore my darker side. I am so not Goth, Care Bears find themselves looking for black trenchcoats when they cross my path. I am so not Goth, wonder bread is too intense for me. And yes, Goth ladies are hot. Ridiculously hot. Many have posted on this thread. And if you're wondering, yeah, but are ALL the women on here as hot as HH?? (or lillith or unchaste or... etc, etc,) the answer is no, but they're realllll close. At first you just think, these ladies are quite attractive and charming, and smart, and exciting, And then suddenly.... you become interested And look at their avatars and go to their galleries, and search their threads and go to their towns and wait outside their homes with binoculors and tissues and.... perhaps I've said too much :fear The point is, there are some mighty fine women here. Hi I am 40. Pretty goth but I wasn't before meeting $Dave on here...wait till you see some of our posts.....you'll at least get a laugh. Don't believe a word she says. She's not quite right in the head. She actually thinks I'm funny. If this is not a clear sign of mental imbalance, nothing is. (Luckily, most on here are quite smart and do not make this fatal error) Well you defiantly came to the right place to discover "new" things. We talk and post about all kinds of stuff. Take a look around and post post post, we all do it and it's addictive. Lilith First of all, Lestat is an attractive and horny man (or so I've been told) so lillith actually does it more than most of us, and as far as it being addictive, that's just crazy It is not addictive It is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictiveIt is not addictive Well okay. I am eternal, because I have no clue how to finish a post, and therefore they continue for eternity. Be warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Draco1958 Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 I want to thank everyone for the great welcome. I wasn't mentioning I'm not Goth thinking of it as a stigma. I just wanted to be sure there wouldn't be a problem or be thought of as a lurker just tryin to redeem others. Seen enough of that to know it's wrong. My interest is genuine and I look forward to meeting and making new friends. Hope to make it to City Club soon. And the eternal, that was an interesting reply, almost funny.. Yeah I know but I never claimed to be right in the head anyway. I spend too much free time behind the computer, I find it easier to talk to people that way. Even at my age, one can be shy when it comes to introducing one self to new people. Looking to increase my circle of friends. Just a friendly warning(sort of a warning), at first I am usually quiet and it takes me a bit to open up so to anyone I meet , if I seem stand offish, it's just my being a little shy, give me a chance and help me feel at home and then look out, I can be quite the naughty comedian.
the eternal Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Draco, um let's see. Not goth, but likes goths and gothy stuff. Trying to meet new people and maybe expand circle of friends Quiet at first and then is pretty wild and crazy That's like 90% of the people on here. Youll be just fine. Almost funny almost funny??? That's a new one. I'm going to have to juggle babies the next time Im posting. Oh wait you're online. Never mind. Im used to being interesting, in that get-away-from-him-Jimmy-before-he-touches-you kind of way Thats why Im here. A lot of interesting people around.
unchaste Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 And if you're wondering, yeah, but are ALL the women on here as hot as HH?? And this, eternal, is why i am so madly in love with you
