Question about a spell

Probably should ask the witch site but here goes. We have been doing these mental health healing spells for like 10-12 people at a time.

They want me to carve each name in the candle.

Is it ok to just put 'all' on it? Someone said first letter of each name is ok....that is still too much. And some are the same.

Also, do they have to be right side up?

Well.. I don't place my faith in these things like I once did.. but.. I would not put the names upside down no matter what. Upside down is kinda like widdershins and can bring about negativity. Additionally, I would try to get at least all the first names on there... maybe use more than one candle lit at the same time... the first letter dosn't seem specific enough.

I'm no expert, just the way I would have done it back in the day. =)

I've done this sort of thing in the past and I say if the energy is there while you're carving the initial, that's good enough.

Do you use a hot needle? That can help speed things up.

Ok I am going to get more candles thanks and that hot needle Idea is great...my athmae is making a mess of these candles over here, the letters are coming out all crooked and I have to draw a feather.

My mother and her coven did a mass healing recently, and they just carved the people's first and last initials, and concentrated on the person as they carved the letters. The letters don't have to be deep. Do not carve the letters upside down, as Nienna stated. Good luck.

It's important to remember that names can hold power. I think that if the spell calls for each name to be carved in then there is most likely a reason for that. No one ever said healing is easy :)

I never got into witchcraft. Or spells, or sainces SP?, or anything like that.

I used to get scared playing "Ouiga", and "Light as a feather stiff as a board"

I was intrigued, but was always tought that it was paganistic, and / or demonic. I don't hold those beliefs but it has always stuck in my head through the years. I just never learned about it.

I've actually found that spells work best when personalized to the person performing them.

But that's just me. =)

I'm a Christian so I don't know much about this.

I an atheist, which means, of course, that I ACTUALLY worship Satan, and thus, would know all about this.

Wait.

And so if I carve two names that are the same do I just add the first initial of last name to differentiate between the two? That is what I was thinking.

Why not put the first initial of each person's name IE LEK, JVM, TBS, etc rather than trying to inscribe their full name? That way, each individual would be named specifically.

I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!
