I'd say that option 1 or 3 are a bit more versatile than option 2. I like the cowboy style ones (#3) better than the biker style boots (#1). That said, cowboy boots won't look reasonable with as many types of pants. Be very careful...

I've had difficulty finding suitable boots ever since Doc Martin's started coming from China. I've been trying to preserve what I have.

last pair of new rocks i had, although heavy, were damn comfortable.

(they were lower lev versions of second link with red flame bits sewn on heel, toecal and tounge detail)

plus the wieght had the weeble effect when i was drunk and kept me upright

but cowboy boots. i miss having my old pair with a set of black anodised finish spurs hammered into them maybe grab myself a stetson and go back to my collage persona completely.

poll created in the quizzes and polls forum. :)

With HW's permission, we'll keep that one.

I say go for it, if HW wouldn't mind.

From an aesthetic point of view, I like the first pair. For theraputic uses, I would recommend the second pair. The third pair would make good shit kickers sure enough, but I don't think they'd do much for your ankle, HW.
