Adriel1 Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 this is something I've been working on for a while. Angel of the night with her red cloak on gleaming eyes, darken hair She hunts under the stars and moon Her victim is waiting Death is swift in her arms Crushing her lover so sweet and alive Now dust and nothing Angel of the night with her red cloak on her kiss is deadly her love is greater She walks in the herd of her fleshy feasts Alone walking the night the cascade of life wanes She cries out in delight "I will drink you all till death" The fleshy scream in agony She sings amonst the gore Angel of the night drinks her next lover Angel of the night she meets the dead She eyes them all fearing at first then loving them The dead surround her kisses and bites The king of the dead comes the the angel They embrace and kiss "You are mine, my love" she sings in his ear The dead sing gleaming eyes Angel of the night loves them all She embraces thier welcome love is grand her loneliness dies The sun rises all colors of the day bleed over the dead They burn and cry The king of the dead cries his tears Angel of the night awakes under the stars She sees the dead gone from her She weeps She leaves her home Lifetimes pass by Angel of the night her red cloak ripped so tired Alone Still she walks under the stars and moon Angel of the night her tears flow still Her cloak blazing She smiles at death and welcomes it.
Draco1958 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Wow, don't know what else to say. This is good, really good. Met a lady at Motor City Comic Con, she wrote several poems, printed them out and was selling them. I bought a copy, excellent stuff. I think you should consider doing that.
Adriel1 Posted September 14, 2005 Author Posted September 14, 2005 ty I have tried to publish it a few times then I stopped for awhile I got it published in one of those poetry contests but thats about it. Maybe I should try a magazine of a chap book. Any suggestions?
Draco1958 Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 What the young lady did was have it printed herself and sold it at a comic con among other places. Her name is Dorenda. You may be able to check some of her stuff out at www.jcscomicstop.com
