I'm ok with it. I usually ask to work the holidays, family gatherings have become less and less over the years as the grandparents pass away. It translates to I have less things to make each year, which gives me more free time. (I make most of my presents) I just hope I don't get stuck listening to christmas carols on my 10 hour shifts at work.
