do you think Obamas outlook and plans on the ecomey err damn typos will help with the rut america is in or do you think he'll blow bushes term he served out of the water.or do you think he'll screw up just as bad? or is it to early to tell?

It's awfully early to tell. I don't think a short term plan will do it, but his more long term provisions are getting a lot of flack already. Everybody seems to agree that something is needed. I'm looking up the plan on-line and will be giving it a good deal of consideration over the weekend. Without knowing too much what is in it yet, I can tell you that I'm hoping for some New Deal type programs (I know, everybody hates my socialist ideals) and more accountability and oversight into banking and lending. I also want to see some real efforts for parity in the world market--not this money-grabbing exploitative outsourcing that is ruining our industry whilst very unevenly lifting foreign markets at the cost of quality controls and consumer and employee protections. It has gone on too long already.

On a lighter note, what's your favorite dinner ever? What did someone make special for you that made you feel special?

ah my favorite dinner ever was actully one i made for myself....i was about 13 and saved all the money i could for about 6 months went to the fish market bought myself and my mum each a lobester and a handful of muscles a bag of shrimp and went and got a steak and made surf and turf that was the best dinner i ever had...

Hmmm. Well, when I came back to live with my mom in December of 2007, she made a big deal of the Christmas dinner for my sake. Ham AND turkey, plenty of gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, her awesome spinach cheese pie, even squash AND rutabaga, brussel sprouts AND asparagus. It was divine. And dessert? My two favorite of her pies: French silk chocolate and a key lime pie both. Wow, just, THANKS MOM!

Which are you more in the mood for tonight? A new movie? Or an old favorite?
