I seriously hope you aren't losing sleep over worrying about this...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Not at all. I sleep quite well actually. However, no one will ever know where someone else's lines are drawn and I am aware that I am beyond the lines that would be drawn by many (if not most). In that regard, yes, I take it somewhat personally.

Er, I've noticed that any alternative scenes are tolerant of a wide range of types of people: for example I've seen conjoined twins, little-people, people who weighed 480+ pounds, 85 pounds, black, white, asian, Hispanic, people in wheelchairs etc. just at old CC. Except for the uber-uppity types in NY, LA etc - most non-mainstream gatherings/social places etc have a wider range of types of people - so it is not just a concentration of heavier people...I imagine at regular fratboy bars people with extra pounds are treated rather badly.

I can usually fit in most places I go, even at the fratboy bars *puke*, but most mainstream places and groups make me ill with the ugly attitudes.

Music and style attracted me to goth clubs several years ago, but it was the general attitude of acceptance that has kept me interested. There are exceptions of course in every crowd, but I still do see that accepting spirit in the majority of gatherings.

I am not attracted to overweight girls. Sorry, just my personal taste. I think it looks unhealthy and that the person does not care about her appearance. I was disgusted with myself when I got up to 234 (I am now at 212) and I hold myself to the same standard. Sorry if this offends anyone but I am offering my opinion.

I don't see any need to apologize for preference in whom one is attracted to. =)

I am not attracted to obese men or women - I agree with P. Hearts about staying in BMI range for health/good looks (except for weight trainers/athletic people who may be more or less)

This is all so subjective- what is "normal" to one person is "fat" to someone else, and vice versa.

Exactly!

I picked pleasantly plump, because I realized that is probaly more accurate for what I view is normal.

The GOC girls are just plain unattractive to me. But I can sympathize with his reasoning. You find this great person, and others like them become similarly attractive. That and his preferences are societal ideals

Ive psychoanalyzed why who i find attractive but I won't go into it here.

Kellygrrrrl stated her weight once. I remember it being at the lower end of what Im into.

So Im weird.

I keep thinking my ideal is around her weight, and then often find myself attracted to women that are bigger.

I love proportionate women (according to my weird standards) so my "normal" range gets larger in direct relation to breast/butt size.

Big women with small breasts have never initially attracted me, for some reason.

Of course, most of the ones Ive known have been attracted to other women anyway

That said, everything often flies out the window when I get to know them.

Honest. Funny. Sexy. It comes in all shapes and sizes.

Although, Ive usually dated a certain type of woman, there have been women that didnt attract me in the least at first glance.

By the end of the night, I was ready to pounce :devil

I dont know if this is off topic, but I think Detroit was recently named the fattest city in the country.

There was some article that talked about how we were no 1 and new Orleans was no 2 for BOTH poverty and fat people.

Its harder to eat healthy when you dont have as much access to the "good stuff"

I suppose this should be neither here nor there for this thread.
