yeah i saw the thread about dgn cards and i thought it meant collector cards with all board members pictures and profiles on the back. like x-men cards or baseball cards. only with dgn board members on them. well i step up my game a little and play with the concept of a dgn collectable card game.

please consider this concept was born out of fun rather then profit. just an idea at this point. I figure we have enough assets as a group to be able to move foward with it. some of us are wrighters others have vast amounts of gaming experience and knowledge of the industry and market. im sure we have artists somewere.

the business end, printing, legal aspects, marketing and what not.

the idea is that we make a card for any board member who wants to be in, thus promoting the site and giving some fame to ourselves and having fun working together. the cards we make for the game we could each have cool powers that we chose that would affect the game. like vampires or druid magic animal totems, necronomican powers and whatever.

now it's been mentioned that it is easy to offend people with a concept like this.

like it's exploiting you as a person and what you stand for or believe in.

well that could be my power in the game it'd be cool.

why not come together as ateam and decide if we could consider this. really it's just for fun and an amzing thing to accomplish. we would be uniqe in this world as we really are the people who make up the world of the game from real life in a sense.

pro-wrestling was a hobby of mine and it's uniqe becouse the cachatures in it are still the same people after the show. when andre the giant went grocery shoping he was still andre the giant at kroger.

it would be fun to do. get dressed take a few pictures pick the one you want make your charchature and put him into circulation were ever the game is sold.like magic the gathering.

I estimate it would take about a year and some good brainstorming and teamwork.

deffinetly a doable thing.

all real. "it's all real" they would think. thats fucking cool it want to be like them when i grow up. and how much time or effort would it take us to do this. thats the thing. it would be more fun then work and would not take very much time out of your day.

I ask that you all submit your ideas to this thread or some other members in person or p.m. just to toss it around a little. it could never be that detrimental to anyone. and it is a grand concept with little effort. of course some people would need to take certian administrative responsabilities on to make it happen.

theres enough creativity here screaming for outlets. theres enough ability for people to lend some talent. someones got some good ideas for a consept of play .

and damn were all some charcatures so there is that.

comming from me it most sound exploitive and insulting to want to make a ccg from us dgn.ers. but there is like 500 members each person designs there own charcatures.

for me it's all about fun and working together on something we love. if you decide for yourself what you are like in the game if in it at all then I didn't use your likeness or exploit your beliefs to determine what type of powers you would have.

the end result would be a source of income for the site to keep it above self sustaining we could incorperate trade stock and shit. maybee other goth sites around the world would demmand a place in the second edition then were on top of a paramid or maybee an international union like a labor union for goth around the nation and beyond with political force and everything. but all that is for the second year of the imotality project.

of course my hopes get higher then me usually. this idea is for you dgn to have fun with and play with. i know it would be possable and somewhat easy and create alot of fun for alot of people.

talk it out start with concepts for a game. or let me ask you this. what powers would you posses if you had a choice? what would be the source of your power.

Very cool concept and you are right very doable........but I have one question " Have you taken your medication today?" just playing but an interesting idea. I deffinately have some ideas for stuff and a very vivid imagination and as well as others here too, we all could become infamous..........plant a seed and see if it grows
