detroitrequiem Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Yes, I admit. Im a geek when it comes to the whole larp thing but it's a lot of fun and something a little different from your every day thing. Would anyone be interested in a vampire larp that goes on throughout the week 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you've ever seen the Kindred TV series thats what Im talking about. I created a game thats based around masquerade but without the rock, paper, scissors geek factor and a bit more realistic. The game "Requiem" is a lot of fun and there are about 10 of us organzizing and playing now. Anyone interested? If you've seen the video game "Bloodlines" thats kinda what IM talking about only making it real life (safe though of course for everyone). Who's interested? We could have private parties once a month, maybe at the Lab or somewhere else (Mephistos?), eat, drink, and be naughty vampire gods. Who's interested?

Brenda Starrr Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Proof that I'm a dork...... What's "larp?"
saechalyn Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Proof that I'm a dork...... What's "larp?" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> live-action role play. Like D&D but not just around a table. So actually, proof that you are NOT a dork.
paradox Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 i dont know how many people would agree with that assesment... :whistling i used to LARP (NERO) but i havent in years. it was alot of fun, but there are some disturbingly strange people who LARP. looking back, im not sure id recommend spending weekends in distant camps with them...
