Darque Knight Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I don't think he died... His next project is a remake of "Get Smart" featuring Steve Carrell as Maxwell Smart.

DarkenedCharm Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Blazing Saddles is a timeless classic, and so bold in its use of racism, sexism and any other -isms that you can think of. Just hilarious. Mel Brooks is comic genius, plain and simple.
Brenda Starrr Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 I still love The Holy Grail. I love it even more now.
Slept with ghost Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 the holy grail is the funniest movie of all time
the eternal Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 I still love The Holy Grail. I love it even more now. Holy Grail?? Really?? I said this to you on another thread but it bears repeating. If you think that was funny you are nothing but an empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries! As for the rest of this bunch, may the schwartz be with you!
Fierce Critter Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Ummm... "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" is Monty Python, not Mel Brooks production. Steve Carrel as Maxwell Smart is an EXCELLENT idea. As for Blazing Saddles, who can forget the beans around the campfire scene??? :grin And then, Madeline Kahn, one of my all-time favorite actress/comediennes as Lili von Stupp: Lili: What's your name, cowboy? Cowboy: Tex, Ma'am. Lili: Are you in show business, Texmam? Cowboy: No, Ma'am. Lili: (Kicking his legs) Then keep your vershtunkene feet off the stage! I'm Tired... ahh, how I relate to that song...
the eternal Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 I figured she disagreed with the mel brooks fixation and was a python nut instead. I love both. Let's not quibble. there are more fun things to do. Vould you like a roll in ze hay? It's fun! Roll, roll, roll in ze hay. :woot:
