Motorcycle tragedy

My friend Noel (24), younger brother of my best friend of about 15 years, Ian, was hit on his motorcycle on Tuesday night by someone running a red light. It was a hit and run.

Noel might not make it. Although the swelling of his brain has gone down, he still is not concious and still not stable enough to perform any more surgery on (he's pretty mangled, apparently).

If he ever comes to again, he'll be brain damaged for the rest of his life.

The friend of his who was on the back of his bike, is dead.

Be carefull driving.

Well, Noel is a junky, so he shouldn't have been driving anything (legally) so if he does come to and by some luck is alright, he'd have man slaughter charges against him (even though the other car ran a light) being that his friend died (the guy on the back of the bike), but the vehicle that hit them fled the scene and that evens it out so it's no one's fault. Albeit whover hit him was most likely fucked up, too but there's no way to prove it.

An Ambulance just happened to be driving by shortly after and spotted the wreckage. It happened on 8 mile.

as a fellow biker, my thoughts are with him & his family/friends... always hate to hear a thing like this... =(

Yeah, thanks everyone. I'm just saying be carefull.

He had on his leather jacket and that-aparently recieved no lacerations to his body for it-his bodily injuries are just like a collapsed lung, broken leg and arms and ribs, that kind of thing, but his head...even though he was wearing a helmet...his head had a sizable laceration in the back from where he impacted the ground. It was his brain bouncing forward though, and being dashed against the front of his skull that is really fucking him.

I'm not sure what to say, he is a cool guy. Nice person, good artist...but he was depressive. We all had hopes he would get clean but...things happen so abruptly...really it could be any of us.

Yeah..Ian. I haven't heard from him really. he's been at the hospital since Wednesday, basically. Won't leave to eat or sleep, anything.

He'd been trying to help Noel out...I was over Ian's the Saturday before developing photos with the two of them. Yep.
