I have! Well, not live =( but a really good film from the early teens, as well as a modern performance. I would love to hear a version mixed with australian aboriginal and middleastern instruments...*ponders*

Dr. Demento is not strange to me. I guess you can say i like alot of 80's stuff. like Boy George (that in it's self is strange enough), and Cindy Lauper(need I go on), or Ah Ha(s'pose that one takes the cake) TAKE ON ME! :nut

Does annoying count as wierd? Toss in stuff like the Crucifucks, early Butthole Surfers.. etc. Not annoying to me but "outsiders" usually cringe.

i guess the strangest thing i have is :

difang - across the yellow earth.

my friend lived in taiwan and got it for me.

i don't think of it as strange but i think most people might.

The backstreet boys and some other boy bands. Hey I was still living at home at the time and my sister was playing her music loud.

New Zealanders and Aussies do not really like each other-comparable to how Americans and Canadians do not like each other. It'd really be an interesting mix with middle eastern instruments, though.

Actually, If you ever watch international Rugby, the New Zealand national rugby team ("The All Blacks)" performs the Haka at center pitch before every game, as tradition, and to try and intimidate the opposing team. The Australian team (the Wallabies) generally cracks up after being subjected to it-

I have a burned mix CD that I play at work sometimes and people don't bat an eye at most of the stuff on there but the Limp Bizkit remix of House of Pain's "Jump Around" gets some raised eyebrows. Also, there's one song, when it's played, people as "What band is that?" Response: "Clan of Xymox". Typical followup: "Clan of who??"

People, for some reason always look at me strange when I tell them my favorite band is Queen, but I will say, the 'strangest' thing I listen to...

Zydeco. Cajun music is IMPOSSIBLE to listen to without it brightening your day! Beau Jacque and the Zydeco High Rollers are awesome.....
