Powerful Fear

I feel a cold breeze

Passing by my thoughts

Its icy touch wants me

To let it grip my soul

It circles around me

Waiting with baited breath

To try and rip my heart out

And take all away from me

It stares from the corner

Piercing me with its eyes

Reaching for my throat

So that I cannot breathe

I don't know how long

Or how much strength I have

To fight away this beast

My huge, powerful fear
