Brenda Starrr Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 or has anyone else had anyone hack into their myspace? I just had someone try to hack into mine. I have my suspicions as to who it may be, but I could be wrong.
unchaste Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 ..and I am the only person in the free world that is still not on MySpace
SomeDanGuy Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 ..and I am the only person in the free world that is still not on MySpace <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope. ....but then again, I already have my own website.

ManicQueen Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 I'm still on for some reason. I don't think I've had any problems with it being hacked. How do you know it was hacked? Just curious as to what the symptoms where.
Goth Brooks Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 The latest in the long line of morons and script kiddies thinking they're uber 1337.. ...of course, my friend's little sister got her myspace cracked, and the person sent messages to a bunch of girls at her school saying she was a lesbian and wanted to do things with 'em. horribly traumatizing for a 14yr old to go through, I understand and sympathize.... but very very funny at the same time. 1. don't use a password that is a word. 2. don't use a password that is a word with numbers at the end. 3. use as many letters/numbers as the site will allow. 4. change it every so often. the end

Really? Did you detect the sarcasm??
Goth Brooks Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 When I went to log in, it said that I had just tried to get into it over 15 times unsuccessfully. I wasn't aware myspace had that feature, kudos to them for doing something right for once. No kidding. Really? Nope, I'm not kidding, alot of old people use easily guessed words as their passwords (family members names, birthdays, city of birth/residence, favourite colour/animal/etc), so I thought I'd just give you a little security wisdom. Did you detect the sarcasm?? Ah sarcasm, the only -asm that women seem to have no trouble achieving.
