Soulrev Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Here's the best damn keyboard and mouse combo you can get, in my opinion.. Got this for Xmas, fuckin awesome.. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc....-126-124&depa=0
Ginevra Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 I know someone who has that keyboard and mouse. While yes, they are fairly good, the mouse doesn't like to mouse on black surfaces, which, unfortunately, most of the desk that it's sitting on is. So a magazine or a smooth surfaced book must be employed for the mouse to work properly. I personally, once I tried it, have always liked this mouse. It is corded but being a trackball makes up for the fact. There is an option for cordless one. Yes, I know it's apples to oranges when it comes to the actual thread topic but I wouldn't trade my trackball for anything :
Soulrev Posted January 5, 2005 Author Posted January 5, 2005 I have a RatPadz GS, it's a black mouse pad, works perfectly on it.. Then again it's like the 2nd best mouse pad you can get, only thing better is an Icemat, but I don't want to pony up 50 bucks right now for one of those..
nodrew Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 I have the exact set you're looking at. It's great. I love the fact that it has a charger for the mouse. I generally have to put the mouse on the charger once every 4-5 days and the 2 AA batteries in the keyboard lasted me abut 8-9 months before I had to replace them. I highly recommend that set.
The_Dark Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-104-158&depa=0 This mouse kicks the tail right off everything else.
Soulrev Posted January 8, 2005 Author Posted January 8, 2005 Well if you really want to get serious about a mouse this one beats the MX 1000 Logitech.. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-153-101&depa=0 It's wired.. Mostly for the serious gamer. Wireless mice have a certain lag which will always make the wired mouse more superior.. I am a pretty serious gamer I just like the freedom of wireless, and I have to deal with wireless lag as well.. But basically the combo I've got is the best for the money.. Plus I really like the feel of this mouse, though I'm still trying to get used to it's specific calibration in online games..
