Head Wreck Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 YES YES YES YES now i can complete the british soldier look
ZhukovCodeslinger Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 now all you need is the Grenade Launcher underneath.... by the way, are those airsofts reflective of the L85s that have been rebuilt by Heckler and Koch?
Head Wreck Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 yes A2 versions. no more dodgt cockin lever/forward assit that bounces spent cases back inbetween the bot carrier and chaimber. though for some reason the IW seems to have the old plastic issue magazine which had a habit of warping and filling the space between the bolt and the chaimber with 30 rounds of SS109 more pics: and finaly i belive STAR do the AG36 handgrip kit for the G36 rifle so i dont recon it'd be long before one of our team ends up with. only thing that could beat this would be an RSAF L1A1 release (kit for M16 series or complete gun)
Vater Araignee Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I'm so jealous. This is the baby I'm saving for. I'm going to get mag restricting rods so it only holds the 30 round standard. A new gear box to boost the ROF between 650 - 750 rpm. I have talked a tool guy at work into making me a brass barrel with a 6.1 mm ID. Then it will just be a matter of adding lead weights to weigh and balance it.
Head Wreck Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 theres allready a company who do 6.01 barrels but to be honest, 6.03 is the lowest i'll reconmend, on regular excell biodegradable ammo, any smaller and jams appear. i belive the company was PDI. a friend came across them while buying parts for his maruzen type 96 bolt action. may be looking at around the £300 for the basic battle rifle. maybe £100 more for the light suport versions. though as a team were not ditching our armalites (M16's A1 to A4 in use in various configurations by different folk) i just hope that we get exemption after the new bill passes so we can continue to import rifles for future recruits to the team. http://www.saveairsoft.org

Plus brass is self lubricating.
Head Wreck Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 yes indeed. i think all mine bar the AK shortie (which will be no longer mine sunday) has 6.05 brass barrels as standard. http://www.detroitgothic.net/index.php?act...md=user&user=26 there we go to further wind vater up and to add icing on the cake HW's old website gallery sennybridge 3 day event, 2003
Vater Araignee Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 at your guns. Hey maybe you can give me some info. I was thinking about getting the SPAS 12 pump action shotgun and 870 Riot Shotgun but the fact that I have never seen any A.S. in action or even found basic stats, has kept it a thought. My two biggest questions are... #1. what are their typical range? #2. How many pellets do they typically eject per shot?
Head Wreck Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 it all depends on make and mfr a good info site (for stateside players is) www.airsoftplayers.com even has marui workshop manuals (Tokyo Marui were the company that took over the airsoft industry in japan with thier electric guns, most guns since are direct5 copies or variations of marui design)
Head Wreck Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 couldnt help myself http://www.detroitgothic.net/uploads/11286...6_218_21638.jpg now i need to do some training to carry that around all day... left arms to weak
Vater Araignee Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 couldnt help myself http://www.detroitgothic.net/uploads/11286...6_218_21638.jpg now i need to do some training to carry that around all day... left arms to weak <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude what types of canisters are you firing out of that cannon, or do you just pop dummy grenades? I like the King Arms 165 Round BB Shower though I don't own any. Hell I don't own a grenade launcher either, but because of my tactics fellas like to put them in my hands. [flash back yesterday] *skawk* Hey Monkey Man tell your boys to stop picking these sheep off and herd them to me then we can piss them off when I take em out with a lob. over. *skawk* Copy that McGuyver. over *skawk* Tagger they are a bit loose tighten them up for me. over. POOMP *skawk* Yes got all sev ouch!!! out! over. That punk snuck up on me and hit me in the back of my neck with a modified Super 9 from 20' at 450 fps, but he is on probation now. Plus he has to walk the gauntlet before and after every session if he wants to play. *snicker* I'm gonna aim for skin.
Head Wreck Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 its a marui shotgun based, but i will be getting a king arms shell version for the full size jobbie for room clearance (blast down corridor, take out loads without aiming, move into alcove to reload, while teamates cover reload, move to next room...) its that or i gets me one of those maruzen semi auto shelle ejecting shotguns (10 in a shell down a very loose barrel)
ZhukovCodeslinger Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Here is the next one I am getting.... look close and you might notice why its so special (no the image has not been reversed) http://www.stagarms.com/cart/images/stag_arms_model1lbig.gif
ZhukovCodeslinger Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 by the way... do you guys remember the kits that allowed you to add a shotgun underneath an M-16? you could probably do that with the 870 airsoft.... just buy the adapters for adding a grenade launcher and epoxy them to the shotgun or if its metal have them Tigged on. (cut up a bayonet to get the locking mechanism for attaching to the bayonet lug and then use a piccininy rail for the back half (or somthing)
ZhukovCodeslinger Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 yes A2 versions. no more dodgt cockin lever/forward assit that bounces spent cases back inbetween the bot carrier and chaimber. though for some reason the IW seems to have the old plastic issue magazine which had a habit of warping and filling the space between the bolt and the chaimber with 30 rounds of SS109 all the real L-85 magazines That I have owned or handled were made of steel. THat posed a problem for the aluminum magazine well on an armalite because they will grind a bit off everytime they are inserted or withdrawn.... thus opening up the magwell... I have found that the $6 israeli orlite mags work pretty good... and now that the mag ban is over you can get OEM military mags for $20 or less. NOw if I could get some more M-14 mags I would be all set (I have been looking at the Taiwanese 25rders but have not bought any as of yet)
Head Wreck Posted October 13, 2005 Author Posted October 13, 2005 ooh, learn something new each day. i know the metal SA2 magazines were intoduced early on, but i heared they still had issues (friends in TA were drilled only to load 27, or else the edges thingies would bend) gee arent i knowlagable. heh heh i was asked by a load of them to sign up, but as said, skin condition (attached to it) and allergic to bullets (i come out in holes). i stick to my toys and photography

I think the 27 round rule would only come up if the british were given free USA magazines from NATO stocks (even French FAMAS STANAG magazines also M-16 pattern are stronger than USA mags) The armalite in the picture is left handed.... (safety/selector and mag release are ambi.), it ejects rounds out on the left side of the rifle instead of the right (for us Lefties) I just thought you guys would get a kick out of it <smile>
Head Wreck Posted October 14, 2005 Author Posted October 14, 2005 nice touch how them made a new rear dight housing that bolts on the right side of the weapon too.
Vater Araignee Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I just fell in love with the super 9. any idea as to how many guns there are where you have to load cartridges before you load the mag?
Head Wreck Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 marushin may nbe a better option for you. also what i will be importing next... http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...8649f6c93d9ba61 10 BB's a shell, load and fire like real shotgun (save for gas tank in stock) also try http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...8649f6c93d9ba61 semi auto of the above system http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...8MMHW_cat_Other Rifles in WGC other guns section
Head Wreck Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 http://eagle5.net/store/temp/airsoft/THC_Airsoft_VCD.mpg enjoy
Head Wreck Posted October 23, 2005 Author Posted October 23, 2005 the game is similar, except the "pellets" arent paint, but rather a diodegradable "plastic", 6mm or 8mm in diameter powers lower but range and accuracy is improved. the weapons usually run of gas, or compressed gas/air
