Where were you born

It's been brought to my attention that many people who live in/around Detroit were born somewhere else. Also, I don't 'think' I know a lot of people who were born in/around Detroit, who have stayed.

I was born in Detroit city (St. John's, 7/Mack) and I still live here. Yes, what I'm doing here amounts to "representin'", I realize it, but at least i'm keepin' it real...

I was born in Sinai Hospital in Detroit, which is there no longer. I've lived in the same house, in Wayne, all of my life.

Nope. But when worked in the Laborer's and later the Iron Worker's union, I helped build it.

I was born at University of Michigan Mott Hospital in Ann Arbor. Moved to Seattle soon afterward. Fam moved back to Ann Arbor then moved away and I remain. I love/hate this town. It is a fab home base as long as there is enough $ to escape ever so often~

I was in Cleveland for all of 8 months before moving to Illinois for the duration.

My mom and I moved to Royal Oak when I was 6.

Mom, stepdad and I moved to Detroit when I was 7.

Moved to St. Clair Shores (worst city EVER) when I was 10.

I moved to Detroit when I was 17, then moved to Royal Oak when I was almost 20, and have been there ever since.
