Hellion Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 :devil Over the past years I have taken like old clothes or other materials and turned them into awsome goth metal wear. The one thing that i want to build is a stainless steel cigarette case that holds 4 packs of cigaretts, but still can be carried easily. When my finances get better I also will be making belts and other goth materiel. More than likely the nearest junkyard will be my main shopping area. "turn Junk Into Works of Art"
Brenda Starrr Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Great idea. I've been considering creating belts out of metal crap as well. One man's junk is another man's treasure.
Ginevra Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Don't forget that you can get some good leather belts used at the second hand stores.
Brenda Starrr Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Definitely! Scouring the thrift stores for accessories is great. You can make some pretty sweet stuff that way.
unchaste Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Yes, thrift stores & dollar stores are great places to find goth crap. I got my favorite skirt at a discount clothing store. It did look normal, but I butchered the ends & put some Frankenstien-ish stitches across it. I love it. Hey Crank, if you got any cool jewelry, I'd be perfectly willing to make a purchase or two.
bean Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 I am always looking for unusual jewelry, so I would be willing to buy a few things as well.
