Cowboydave Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 OK, so I just bought a really cool pair of new boots. They are a little pricey but very cool none the less. Here is the link - I bought the Thrill Kills http://www.vixensandangels.com/Item.cfm?Ty...FTOKEN=33126585 They arrived today and are very cool. I will be wearing them to the club tonight down here in Atlanta but all of you will have to wait until Mid November to get to see me in them...
Head Wreck Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 yes. # new rocks damn comfy, but they take a lot of looking after (can last 1 yearm or more, mine went when the soft rubber finaly wore down to the metal and they snapped. i know my ex still uses hers from ages back, and the metal heel in hers is starting to wear down now. thier so comfy people keep these long after thier comfy, despite the wieght the wieght is usefull though. they remind your feet which ways down when drunk and have a "weeble" effect in pits
Mistercreeps Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Hey thanks for posting that site! I've been looking to get another good pair of boots but around here I can't find anything I like. I looked all over on the net for some I liked but never seen this site before. I was thinking of getting the Gannon or Termor boots from there. Was wondering how you like your boots and how good they are made? I want something that will last me as long as my last pair. I wouldn't wear them all the time just when I feel like dressing up and going out for some fun.
Cowboydave Posted October 14, 2005 Author Posted October 14, 2005 I have only had the chance to wear mine once so far. I wore them all afternoon and then to the club. I know that's not a long time but for those that know how I dance, I danced my ass off and I dance HARD. Ask at CC who I am and then ask how I dance, then you will understand that surviving one night is an achievment all into itself. They were damn comfy and seemed to hold together well. my only concern is the velcro. How long will the velcro last bofore it will not keep the boot done up? Can't really answer those questions yet, but I will be putting the boots to the test once I get back to Detroit, so in less than a month you can see them for yourself and get better feed back....

Mistercreeps Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Well I got my boots Friday! I got the tremor ones cause the club close by doesn't allow spikes inside due to problems they have had in the past. I love them. They are very comfy after about 4 hours of break in time. Thanks again for the link cowboydave! As for the velcro there is a place here in town that will replace them with ajustable buckles. I thought about having that done when it wears out and won't hold anymore. Most biker leather shops can do this and they won't care that your goth. Least here they don't. Oh yea I forgot I found this leather care stuff my dad swears by made by apple polishes. It's a leather conditioner that will help keep the leather from cracking and wrinkling really bad. It was 3.50 for 4 oz. but if used right it don't take much per use. My dad told me to use it after wearing the boots for a period of time. He uses it on his leather coat. He's had the coat now for almost 9 years and it has little signs of wear on it. I will see if I can find a website that has it.
