Took me til last Christmas to update to a system other than the NIntendo I have. I mean, I did have a PSX but it was stolen and I never bought another after that. My friends bought me my XBox last Xmas because I needed to catch up and play them at LAN parties and such lol. I am enjoying it massively over the Live connection. Only thing missing now is gel gripped controllers and... wait a minute, that sounds a lot like a womans play toy! *shakes and bangs side of head trying to empty the thought*

grab a phillips head screw driver and unplug any cords from the ps2 take out the memory card as well turn it upside down then take over off the things protecting the screws and take out the screws then slowly turn the ps2 right side up and remove the top (there will be this thin silver thng to look out for make sure that it doesnt come lose from the system then unscrew the very very tiny scres the cover the disk tray and and wipe the laser off with a q-tip and some witch hazel then put everything back in place and your ps will work again
