I knew going into this it was going to be different. And I wasn't disappointed.

We had wanted to see it in the theater. But there are only two theaters in Raleigh that show this sort of thing, and it only made it to one of them, and for a VERY short time. So we missed out until the DVD came out.

My husband and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't drop-dead HAR HAR HAR funny, but it was the "different" kind of funny that we enjoy.

I loved the opening credits. Tater tots never looked so good.

There are surprisingly few extras. Some deleted scenes (some of which it's a shame they didn't make the film), stills, etc. If I had more time, I'd go watch the film with commentary.

I have wanted to see this, I take it that it's worth it?

we have seen this film as well

we expected something diffrent so we were at first dissapointed but all in all the film was good and even if you dont like this kind of film the ending will make it worth your while as long as you can identify which i did

Fallennon - I do recommend it, and I share L&L's opinion somewhat.

I'm not a harsh movie critic. I enjoy movies mostly as brain candy - it doesnt' have to force me to use every part of my brain for me to enjoy it. I prefer films that allow me to "escape" for a couple hours or so.

Like I said, it's not guffaw-inducing humor. More the kind of humor where a character does/says something and you have to pause the DVD, say, "what the HELL was THAT?!" and rewind so you're sure you heard/saw it right the first time.

ANd yes - the ending is a treat. :)

i loved the opening credits. that right there was the first thing i liked about the movie.

and just how dorky everyone REALLY seemed. i loved that as well.

the way he talked when he would say things- that was funny more so even than what was said.

That whiney voice and half closed eyes!

we watched it again last night with the "commentary" feature over it. that is funny to do. and i didn't realize at the end of the credits there is another scene "2 months later". didn't catch that the first time around.
