Didn't know where to put this.

The stangest thing has happend for the second time in a year. Twice I have colored my hair and it seems to be popular with younger people (18 - 24). Am I doing someting right or is this just a fluke? Has anyone gone through this. I get compliments on how good it looks (!?!?!?!?!?). I'm not sure what to think.

Actually, I get that all the time. My hair is currently purple with blue-black around the face. No one has ever made slightful statements to me. Most of what I get are things like "I wish I had the courage to do that" and compliments from the profs in my department.

Me too. The only person to EVER insult my haircolor choices is my ex-husband. He also insults my tattoos and my clothes. Then again, he's just a bitter bastard.

when my hair was black with red streaks i got compliments alot (when i would be out). one of my friends friends though asked me "why did you do that to your hair". ;) i don't remember what i said back. but whatever. i had always wanted to do it, it turned out JUST like i wanted it... for a couple weeks anyways. the people at my grocery store seemed to love it. every time i went shopping someone there complimented it. the manager of the store even came up to me to comment on it. i knew she would though cuz she always has blue, green, blonde, etc hair.
