spotted this image today

nice as it is its more or less exactly what i'd love to do

except

that awfull abomination added to the hood of the car.

i like smoother lines on hotrods, i hate things sticking out of bonnets, or bits added to cover them (i hated the MGC's for that bulge).

whats everyones thoughts on thier ideal modded/rodded car?

That bit sticking out of the hood kinda has to be there if you want the engine to get the air it needs.

it could have been avoided by keeping the original 4 litre straight 6 imho, just track down new cams and properly tune it
