I never drink.

When others notice I'm not drinking it seems to make them uncomfortable sometimes, like I'm being antisocial, but when it can trigger a week-long migraine you tend to avoid things like that.

With this new preventative medicine I'm taking I might be able to get away with it now, not sure.

i don't drink. i have been buzzed/drunk about 3 times this year though. actually i lied... maybe more like ... five? ok somewhere between 4 and 5 times this year. and that is a LOT for me. i have gone years without drinking at all. or drinking once a year at a wedding or something. but this year i discovered i like to drink! or rather, i found some drinks i really like. i will probably only drink a couple more times before the year is out though.

i have only ever had one. i drank 8 bloody marys i think it was... should say SUCKED DOWN 8 bloody marys with double shots of vodka. got drunk faster than i ever have in my life. everything got blurry. i said "good night". went to bed. woke up with a bad headache. i guess that is a hang over eh?

i told someone i got drunk and a hangover off bloody marys and they said "you are supposed to drink bloody marys in the MORNING for the hangover, not get a hangover FROM them" gee, how was i to know? :laughing

It's easy! I drink fast, so it hits me fast, and also goes away fast. I also try never to fall asleep drunk and drink plenty of water. Once in a while I do get hungover, but it's rare.

I get a nice mild buzz going several times per week, but I don't often get drunk. I just like red wine with dinner or before bedtime.

2'ce this month pretty tipsy - but functional.

I can get terrible hangovers from 1 drink if I have PMS. I usually stick to clear high-end booze and drink lots of water or just abstain/small glass of wine or grappa.
