Thanks again. i went down for the viewing thursday night. It was at that point that his wife and children came to me and asked if I would speak at the funeral and do the opening prayer.... I have done a lot of things in my life. this was one of the hardest. How do you put into words a 25+ year friendship? How do you tell his kids that everything is going to be ok? How do you tell a wife that the great emptyness she is feeling in her life will slowly fill in? I did my best.. I hope it was enough.
