Black Sunday Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 So you're on a desert Island for a year and you get to choose 5 videogames to take with you.....which ones would you take? I bet no one thought to ask this question about videogames before!
Ginevra Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Well, other than the FF series, I CAN say that I WOULD NOT take the game that I recently aquired and tried to install and the install kept failing.
Jarodaka Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Do we have Internet access? 'Cause if we do, Halo 2 would be sweet, if not Internet, Halo 2 would be not so good.
The_Dark Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 1. Return to Castle Wolfenstien 2. Rome: Total War 3. Far Cry 4. Star Trek Bridge Commander 5. porn.. does porn count as a game?
JaneDead Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 yes porn can be a game. a one, two, three + player game at that! i would bring the sims2. that is it. oh and tetris.
Black Sunday Posted January 10, 2005 Author Posted January 10, 2005 1) ESPN NBA 2k5 (featuring Detroit's own Ben Wallace on the cover) 2) World Soccer Winning Eleven 8 3) Halo 4) Pac Man 5) Superman: the Shadow of Apocalypse Just missing the cut: Spider-Man 2, Metroid Prime, Superman: the man of steel, Soul Calibur, Enter the Matrix, Resident Evil Zero. And to answer the question: NO INTERNET ACCESS what kind of deserted Island do you think this is?
LuthienTheFallen Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 counterstrike hf2 star wars galaxies vampire the masquarade any hockey game
Darque Knight Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 1) Tetris 2) Final Fantasy VII 3) WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 4) Diablo 2 5) Starcraft
Onyx Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 So you're on a desert Island for a year and you get to choose 5 videogames to take with you.....which ones would you take? I bet no one thought to ask this question about videogames before! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *sigh* Kids these days! None of your games will work because there is no electricity on a desert island. Haven't you seen Gilligan's island? (Unless you are stranded wih the Professor and he can build you one of those neato bicycle electricity makers). Oh no. Now I've got that song stuck in my head. "Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, A tale of a fateful trip ... laalaalaa .. uncharted desert isle .."
Shade Everdark Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 This is imagination! I cannot be bothered with concepts like physics, engineering, and the like! Bring on the improbable! That said, the five games I'd take to a desert island with me.... 1. Chrono Trigger 2. Starcraft 3. Civilizaton 3 4. Final Fantasy IV (II in the States) 5. GTA: San Andreas
Darque Knight Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 None of your games will work because there is no electricity on a desert island. Haven't you seen Gilligan's island? You doubt the MacGuyveresque injinuity of the hardcore video gamer... and seem to have a stereotype assigned to dessert islands. For my year on a desert island I'm thinking of one of the many resorts on the island of Fiji
Troy Spiral (13) Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Ruling out games such as Serious Sam, Phreddy Pharkis, Kings Quest, Baulders Gate, Grim Fandagngo, Wizardry series , Ultima series, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario 64, The zelda series, FF and others due to the fact that im "locked on a desert island" and the RPG style nature of these doesnt lend itself to years of replay... (and asuming no net access so that means no multiplayer net games (Halo) or MMORPGS/MUDS awmagad!!) Soul Calibur Starcraft Sid's Gettysburg Civ 2 Combat Mission totally based on current mood, and the fact that i'd be expected to play these things over and over and over again.
