ZhukovCodeslinger Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I saw them in concert last fall..... im scared... very scared about the new album. To me it would be like recording Ronald Regan right before he died... I think TKK is now pushing Sylvester Stallone "Rocky VII" status...

Nienna Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I didn't even know there was a new one out! What an awesome yer for music! I'm going to see if I can pick it up!
Nienna Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I saw them back in 2000 and it was freakin' awesome. Have they gone that downhill since then? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I saw them last winter and I thought they rocked just as much as in 2000.
HipsterDufus Posted November 4, 2005 Author Posted November 4, 2005 I saw them last winter and I thought they rocked just as much as in 2000. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Were you at the Orbit Room show? Just curious; that's the one I was at.
Head Wreck Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 as i said to a friend in missouri a year or two back when she said she'd just been to see them "jeez, these guys still about, they must have custom walking frames to support thier gear"
Nienna Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Were you at the Orbit Room show? Just curious; that's the one I was at. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes indeed! I used to go to alot of the shows there.
MarsDustDoug Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 I saw em at St Andrew's a few years back. I LOVE TKK and have for many years...But the show sucked... maybe its cause Meg lee Chen and Apartment 26 opened and they are both terrible. TKK played everything I wanted to hear and did it well but I think the first two bands just ruined the show for me Im very interested to hear hwo the new album is though
Aleister1 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 sex on wheels is still the best. I have at least 4 or five albumns all good in my opinion, so i suppose i'll just hafta pick this one up too.

Have they gone that downhill since then? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was at the show they did with Ministry and Hansel Und Gretyl. Grovie man could not longer sing, and his bald head shined though his comb over.... The videos they played were pretty good (1950s and 1960s biker movies and horror movies) but that could not make up for how bad the singing was.... he could not hit the right notes and his voice was cracking like a 13 year olds.
